If you missed out on Zingerman’s Cornman Farms British-style fish and chips pop-up in June, you'll have several more chances to get the meal.

Kieron Hales, Cornman Farms' managing partner and executive chef, decided to bring the pop-up back for several more weeks. After the sell-out success of the June pop-up, Hales will continue to offer the fish and chips on Wednesdays through Aug. 26.  

The British chef prepares the dish as he remembers having it in the United Kingdom, using cod. Hales puts together two center cut cod loins (6-ounces each) that are battered and fried until golden and crisp. The fish is served with thick cut steak fries (chips). Both the fish and chips get a generous sprinkling of kosher salt.

An array of sauces served with the fish include a curry sauce for the chips and a tartar sauce for the fish. Hales also provides malt vinegar, a hallmark of British-style fish and chips. A customary lemon wedge is included.

You can also buy cold beer and wine to go with the fish.

Because of social distancing and capacity requirements, the farm is not able to accommodate guests for sit-down meals as it has with past events. When you pick up orders, you are permitted to park on the property and eat your fish and chips. Cornman Farms also recommends taking your meal to nearby parks, such as Mill Creek Park and Hudson Mills Metropark. 

Fish and chips meals must be pre-ordered and are available for pickup 4-8 p.m. All orders must be placed in advance online at shop.zingermanscornmanfarms.com. Each fish and chips meal is $18 and serves 1-2 people. Fish and chips meals are available until sold out. Order pick-up is no-contact.
