The Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game needs to do a better job regulating salmon fishing before this resource disappears. The Anchor River is continually closed to sport fishing. Brown bears that have been on my land every spring and summer for years with cubs have disappeared because the fish are gone. Is Alaska going to become what so many Lower 48 states have — barren of much of the indigenous wildlife? We need competency in the Fish and Game office before this situation is irreversible!
