This year Harvest of Hope, an annual fundraiser for Broomfield FISH, will be virtual.
People are invited to join the Zoom event, which features a pre-show at 5:30 p.m. and the event from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22.
This year’s program will include a cook-off challenge between FISH staff, an update from FISH Executive Director Dayna Scott, a video that shares the nonprofit’s “successes and gratitude,” and a paddle raise to support programs, according to the invite.
People who register are not required to enter credit card information to take part in the event, but they can do so if they want to donate, Scott said.
FISH has helped stabilize more than 11,000 unduplicated residents and has distributed more than 1.4 million pounds of food this year, according to the nonprofit. Attending the virtual event is free, but registration is required.
Those who cannot attend, but would still like to donate, can visit broomfieldfish.org.
