CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -Spring is the time to head outdoors and go fishing and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is making sure everyone makes the catch.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is restocking state rivers and lakes and supplying you with a road map of where to go to catch the fish you want.
The department’s newest feature is an online, interactive, fish-stocking guide. Wyomingites can plug in their preferred location or fish, like Sloan Lake or trout, and it will tell you what waterways to go to.
The site will even let you know where past and future fish will reside to plan your trips accordingly.
Last year a lot of people got reacquainted with the outdoors as a way to escape COVID-19 related cabin fever, in the process learning new activities for themselves and with family.
This year, people continue the outdoor tradition as the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is beginning the restocking operations to continue throughout the summer.
