A recent letter was spot-on. Who wants more development and shall we keep kidding ourselves that we can build our way out of homelessness? As a citizen who currently lives here, I love Santa Cruz County. More development keeps chipping away at this love. I don’t need more cars on the freeway, more pressure on groundwater draw, or increased city budgets realized through more and higher taxation.
