Soul Fish Cafe, the popular downtown restaurant at 306 Main St., made a Facebook announcement on Sunday that it will be closing up shop on August 7. The post said that the restaurant’s lease is up and an agreement was not reached on the renewal. Soul Fish opened in Little Rock in August of 2016 in the old Dundee’s menswear location. It was the small chain’s fourth location and first outside of Memphis.

Since all good things come to an end, so is our lease. We didn’t agree on renewal, and our last day open in Little Rock will be August 7th. This gives you two weeks to come to see us one last time.
We thank everyone who has supported us over the past six years. We truly appreciate you.
To the other restaurants out there, we have an awesome crew who will be looking for work. So give me a call, and I will send them your way.
