Following Big Cup with Pretzels, Reese’s is on the mission to prove everything tastes better with peanut butter and chocolate, even potato chips. Enter Reese’s Big Cup with Potato Chips.
“We’re on a mission to show the world that EVERYTHING tastes better with chocolate and peanut butter. This time, we mixed crispy rippled potato chips right in with our smooth peanut butter, then coated it in rich milk chocolate,” Reese’s said in a product statement.
The Big Cup is bigger than a regular-sized Reese’s, but still has the milk chocolate and peanut butter. Though, the peanut butter is mixed with bites of potato chips.
“In each bite of a REESE’S Big Cup with Potato Chips Peanut Butter Cup, you’ll taste the chocolate, then the peanut butter, then a curious crunch for the ultimate sweet and salty snack moment,” the product statement continues to say. “We do this for you – so you don’t have to decide what kind of snack to have. Our treats have it all!”
According to Yahoo, a photo of Reese’s Big Cup with Potato Chips leaked on Instagram last year in September 2020, but back then, the product was only a rumor. Now it’s dropping in stores just in time for Halloween. Though, the product hasn’t been released everywhere and is expected to “come soon.”
The reviews for the new product are already rolling in too. One reviewer may agree everything tastes better with Reese’s.
The reviewer wrote, “This is your BEST idea yet!! Great way to do sweet and salty. I originally thought it was just a big cup but when I hit the potato chip I thought it was salted toffee. Soooo Good!!!”
Though like any potato chip, soggiest can ruin it. Another reviewer wrote, “I have always loved Reese’s peanut butter cups and these were delicious but unfortunately the chips inside weren’t the best. The chips were not crisp and a little soggy.”
