The rainbow trout being stocked in rivers, ponds, and lakes will be roughly 10 to 12 inches long.
BOISE, Idaho — Dust off those fishing rods and tackle boxes as Idaho Fish and Game is stocking over 28,000 rainbow trout in southwest Idaho this March.
Stocking dates and fish availability will vary depending on many factors, including weather, water conditions and staffing concerns.

March 4-8:
Eagle Island Park Pond - 450 fish
McDevitt Pond - 450 fish
Kleiner Pond - 50 fish
Mariposa PondMar - 125 fish
Boise River (Strawberry Glen to Barber Dam) - 720 fish
Boise River (Middleton to Eagle Road) -720 fish
Wilson Springs North Pond - 200 fish
Wilson Springs South Pond - 100 fish
Wilson Springs Trophy Pond -100 fish
Wilson Creek - 350 fish
March 11-15:
Caldwell Rotary Pond - 400 fish
Duff Lane PondMar - 325 fish
