kuaciasing.blogspot.com

The first of two Fish-for-Free is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, statewide across Pennsylvania.

According to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, Pennsylvania residents may go fishing on the state’s waterways without fishing licenses, trout-salmon stamps or Lake Erie permits.

All other fishing regulations, including seasons and creel limits, will remain in effect.

A second Fish-for-Free days will be held on Independence Day, July 4.

The commission offers a couple Fish-for-Free days each year as a means to introduce new people to the sport of fishing.

For more information about fishing in Pennsylvania, including recommendations on prime fishing spots, visit the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission website.
