Two-rods per angler will be allowed throughout the Willamette Valley beginning Saturday.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife announced the rule change Friday, extending the two-rod area from below Willamette Falls to the entire drainage above the falls for nearly all fish, including hatchery salmon, hatchery steelhead, trout and all warmwater species.
The only exception will be while angling for sturgeon, restricted to one rod only.
Anglers 12 and older will have to purchase a two-rod validation.
